The wording of your post points to the cause of our today’s problems - the intransigence in insisting that the Russian Federation == Stalin’s USSR. It is NOT. Instead of getting credit and respect for the near bloodless revolution against the Evil Empire - they were treated like nothing changed. I wonder why. One obvious reason is that the military industrial complex can’t make a living on friends. Needs enemies. And…. There is no more reliable way of making an enemy than by treating that nation as one. Too many of us chose to buy into that self serving and dangerous manipulation. Rusha-Rusha-Rusha.
