Now its getting close, after 8 years of war against Ukraine, attacks against Georgia,
OK - I get it. You simply used the title of what you posted. Consider my criticism to be addressed not to you, but to the authors.

But, the curious thing about what you call an 8 year war “against Ukraine” - according to the Donbas people - was more like an abandonment of them by Russia. According to them, Russia “almost” abandoned them. Only a limited number of volunteers came from Russia to help them. Russia refused to recognize them - or to annex them. Sounds like Russia went out if it’s way not to piss off the Ukrainian government - which continued to bomb and attack Donbas, killing circa 14-16 thousand people in those 8 years. One of the reasons for the invasion was that Ukraine was beginning a major campaign against the Donbas regions.

Georgia…. Invaded South Ossetia - reportedly, against the advise of their Nato consultants. The Russians rode in, kicked the Georgians out of Ossetia - and a few days later, basically, went home.

You’re welcome to have the last word. Can’t make every post into a conversation.
