That's funny... my weekly wrap up post... also features a clown theme... if indirectly... It does add some utility, perhaps, in better parsing the nature of the differences in charts... between the event in 2008 and that in 2022.. Does make it pretty hard to dismiss the parallels... while understanding the differences might also help provide some focus that is hard to find elsewhere... And, not just the "charts"... that look far worse now than in 2008.... but, the fundamentals...as back then, "only" a bubble in housing causing banks to implode... when the bubble popping also exposed their frauds... Now, we have the "everything bubble"... a foam of many bubbles forming a giant mound... Even those who get that "everything bubble" exists, and has been inflated, deliberately... and even clearly knowing there are massive risks to be realized, that it popping will impose... they still seem blind to... yeah... there's also going to be frauds discovered behind every one of the component bubbles in the foam... with each likely imposing some new... "can't fix that"... And, "they" know its a massive bubble / foam / fraud... but also have planned to "win" the popping event... by claiming the fact it occurred... means we need vastly more of what caused it ? So, maybe its less about "that house of cards is collapsing now"... than it is about your evil clown having soaked it in gasoline... with my evil clown having just lit a match... And, wouldn't ya know... it seems the fire department has run out of diesel...
