And nature's plan may very well be to have man destroy himself. I think moderation is warranted in all things. At the moment man has immoderately imposed himself upon the planet. Because we are creatures of excess I think caution is warranted. I don't think there is any way to know which species should be saved, so all species should be treated with care. I personally do not feel the choice of which species to save and which to kill, are mine to make. This planet and all its creatures belongs to the inhabitants of today and to future generations. We are caretakers (but not very good ones right now.)
