Dear thread,
As you may or may not have known, I have been trying for the past few months to get a web based version of our stock game. It must be very time consuming for Troy to do all the work, and it would be a lot easier to have a program doing the work.
However, my efforts have fallen through, since I don't know how to program, and those I have contacted have not been able to put anything together.
I guess my question now is whether you, the players, would be willing to pay a trivial fee (perhaps$5-10) to cover the cost of "buying" the scripts necessary to make this work. This would give us APMers a web based version of the stock games, with the same rules. It would automatically update either during the day or at least at the COB. It would also keep a running list of point totals. It would contain player registrations as well as reasons for each pick as well.
I obviously, being 15, can't pay for this myself. So I was just curious as to the kind of response I would get for the other players. Sincerely,
