Not necessary. All that's needed is a corrective retracement such as, 38.2%, 50% or 61.8%, etc( once the short term high is in) and then a rally above the most recent high to confirm a bottom. To put it in simpler terms: a higher low and a higher high would do wonders here.

In the most recent past, we got strong V bottoms and rallies. I doubt we see one this time.
