| | | And millions of zygotes have been created and are each year which fail to implant. If you are going to claim that life begins at conception, and that it has approximately equal value independent of time after that, then please do explain the casual disregard for creating doomed zygotes without a care in the world.
If you can't figure that out, imagine instead what people would think if the fragile link in women's reproduction came at say 7 months, that is unprotected sex (as a number of the very conservative Christian groups that are most strongly anti-abortion claim to hold as a religious belief) resulted in pregnancy that would implant reliably but then fail at 7 months in a miscarriage. Don't you think most people would say, we really shouldn't keep doing this, its a tad immoral? That is just for the sake of intimacy, we create this life that nearly makes it to full term, and then dies, and we keep doing this because we enjoy intimacy?
That is literally what is going on with such people, except the failure happens between conception and implant, and they would generally not even be aware of anything. What they are aware of is that they don't get pregnant anymore, and isn't that great news! Yet they want to stick their religious noses in their neighbors bedrooms and police them, while they would yell and scream religious persecution if the reverse was done to them. |
