Yeah, we're @ 5.49 here in San Diego County... Here's Newsom and the CA Dem's dirty little secret. They want to give a check for $400 for every registered car in the state. Who benefits? Those who drive very little. City dwellers. Dem voters. EVs. Free cheese. Who doesn't benefit? Rural drivers who must cover longer distances. GOP voters. Instead of the $400 scam, if they really wanted to help drivers getting crushed by fuel prices, they'd drop the exorbitant CA gas taxes and/or relax the expensive reformulated gas mandates.
