They have not yet fulfilled their objectives. Why would they go home? Did we leave Iraq after one or two or even five years? It took 21 years for us to leave Afghanistan. We are still in Syria as well. And moving back into Somalia. That is the nature of superpower military actions. Ukraine should have never killed all of those ethnic Russians in the Donbas.. They were asking for it.
