It appears to me Musk is under attack at this time. In the last few days we've had the S&P drop Tesla from its “ESG” index where the E stands for environmental. Imagine that —. If Carbon is the problem, Musk is doing more to solve it than any person alive. Literally.

Today came news that Tesla settled a 250k harassment lawsuit in 2018. Very weird timing. The news was full of a $145 Million settlement in a suit filed by black employees in Fremont because the company allegedly wasn’t proactive enough in anti racism activities. It was not really mentioned the judge later cut the settlement to a mere $5 million, hardly newsworthy. It all seems odd.

Then, I saw just now that he said to anticipate attacks against him for having gone after the Twitter takeover.

It is very weird, although could be coincidental. Lol. Right.

I think Musk will come through this but my few shares of Tesla have sure been beaten up lol.

Tesla “was pushed further down the ranks relative to its global industry group peers” that made improvements in their operations and due to “Tesla’s (lack of) low carbon strategy and codes of business conduct,” Dorn said. The company was also faulted for “two separate events centered around claims of racial discrimination and poor working conditions at Tesla’s Fremont factory, as well as its handling of the NHTSA investigation after multiple deaths and injuries were linked to its autopilot vehicles. While Tesla may be playing its part in taking fuel-powered cars off the road, it has fallen behind its peers when examined through a wider ESG lens.
