Thanks WFoL. I stopped listening after 1:30 when he claimed that when Russia pulled back from Kharkiv, they didn't lose that many men or that much hardware. That's just plain denial, especially when the evidence showed a massive slaughter of Russian forces at the river.

Not only that, but Kharkiv was key to Russia's strategy of encircling the Ukrainian forces in the east and choking them off. That shows the Russians aren't able to do anything but make minor gains at a few spots at a time.

Of course, Russia still has a ton of resources to throw at this war. But the funny thing is, so does Ukraine.

Analysts were predicting that Russia would have an advantage in the Donbas region because of its flat terrain and its favorability toward a war of attrition. Even that advantage means squat when Russian leadership and Russian tactics have been less than stellar.

The only chance Russia has now is hoping that Ukraine suffered FAR greater losses than anyone has reported. It's possible, given that there are curiously very few reports of Ukrainian casualties.

But given the trend, I really doubt it.
