Now that we're in a bear market we can look back at what didn't work.
1) stock buybacks didn't work
2) giving CEOs millions when their stocks were falling didn't work.
3) giving the top brass unlimited vacation time didn't work.
4) raising prices didn't work.

As you know, Dems have a recession every 40 years or so, so we're due. Republicans always have recessions. Carter was the last Dem to have a recession and Truman before him (after WW2). Carter's recession caused inflation to collapse fast. Reagan got the credit because that's what his party does.
