Do we really need a buyback?

Mr. A., hope you are right and CYMI is not buying shares back now.

The buyback announcement was clearly timed to offset a possible selloff after the CC - they'd promised two quarters of sequential growth in late October and knew that they couldn't deliver pn the promise. Great idea, worked well (thanks to the change in the market sentiment, help from the analysts etc), and I sincerely hope they didn't have to spend a lot of ammunition in this round.

Long time ago I had a chance to attend a lecture given by the world chess champion and a great strategist, Mikhail Botwinnik. He was showing one of his games with another grandmaster. I was a kid at the time, I did not understand half of the variations he was showing, and I do not remember the game anymore, but one thing he'd said had stuck in my mind:

"THE THREAT IS MIGHTIER THAN ITS EXECUTION"
