Sorry, you’re right, of course. I meant in general, globally.

Maybe a combination of nuclear and fossil would be best. No particular advantage in giving up one or the other. And certainly, both are better than paying 4-6 times higher costs for wind or sun.

Iceland has it made - at least as of back some years ago, when I visited there, 90% of their electricity came from geothermal sources. But - it’s a small and special place.
