You can't believe this with ANY credibility:
Who gets the money from carbon taxes an energy prices ? When you follow that trail it is more like the gold dust blowing away at end of Treasure of the Sierra Madre than it is an organized scam to line someone's pockets.
Just look at what Musk did by making a car company that would evade CA's tough labor laws and get subsidies from the Far Left environmentalists here to help rich people buy very expensive autos where they were ALSO given free passes to drive solo in the HOV commute lanes our taxes paid for to ease congestion, not make Musk rich.

You are talking a LOT of money just for the subsidy THEN a lot of time value of money to drive in faster commute lanes here... that they have since converted to TOLL lanes so the same rich people can be straight forward and pay for quicker travel on taxpayer funded roads.

Then when CA wanted taxes on what he made, he moved to Texas and said he's voting Republican and now they pulled out the "sexual harassment" claims that they seem to favor going after anyone they want to bring down who sides with the GOP.

Basically Trump did the same but pandered to the anti-choice crowd to get the votes and power despite having mostly Democrat ideas such as being tough on illegal immigration as they took low paying jobs that kept salaries low.
