I speculated BEFORE the election was she's a placeholder to try and get to two years and a day... then Article 25 which should give her 2 years to solidify votes from her party then 8 years to outlive some more SC justices or add more justices. 10 years vs put her in now and only get 6... incumbents are hard to beat.
