Dennis,

don't forget that another month has passed since NVLS and others reported. Look at QCOM, a month ago when they released their earnings, there were no problems. Then Korea just sank them. Things are happening so quickly that there could be bombs on a daily basis. Example. Over the weekend, the Korean trade unions reached agreement with the government and Korea Inc., allowing layoffs. I thought that was great news and Korea should be first to recover from the Asian flu. Then today, the rank and file rejected the agreement. Instead of road to recovery, we are looking at the possibility of a massive strike as early as this weekend. The last time Korea had one of these, I believe the damage was estimated to be in the billions.

These are indeed interesting times for companies that have a heavy presence in SEA. My bet is that AMAT would not have anything positive to say.
