You could be right. I'm a bit of a hermit here so I go by what I read here on SI. I'm still seeing the trading threads, guru threads etc buying and justifying their ongoing losing positions.
I don't have all the answers and everytime I learn market lesson, the market comes up with a brand new scenario but with that said, I am a FA guy though I use charts for timing.
FA wise, we could be entering a whole new phase that few have seen. If we continue to reverse globalization like they are saying to get less reliant on China and supply disruptions, that is going to be inflationary. Supply/shipping issues are inflationary. Even in a recession, the Fed may drag their feet or do the bare minimum to help for fear of letting inflation loose.
This market has been hooked on the heroin of loose policy for decades. Very few knew the market in the 60s when growth was booming but the market didn't do a whole lot. Then the 70s inflation and the market did nothing. Everyone thinks the longest bull of 82-2000 is normal and/or the money tap wide open 09-2020 was normal.
These could be interesting times ahead.

EDIT - killer dog just tangled with the biggest raccoon I've ever seen. I finally got a shot at it and ended the fight. Not what I was hoping to be doing at 1:30 in the morning. He's cussing at the coon still so I haven't had a chance to look him over and see what damage was done yet. I wonder how many ticks I just picked up? Of course they were in a nasty dense patch of woods.
