Well, If we put on our “bio-tech-colored-glasses”, then the market last week wasn’t half bad. Both biotech indices post gains 2.5-2.6%. In terms of individual stocks, not much to talk about, except that PTE had a reverse 25:1 stock split, after which it immediately shed almost half it’s value, ending up with the 4th worse YTD performance. Maybe they should have gone for a 50:1 reverse split.

And the contestants performance wasn’t too shabby, although on average/median underperforming the indices. Still, 12 portfolios did outperform the index, and overall 20 out of 32 portfolios were in the black for the week. In terms of the top 10, there were no new portfolios breaking through this week, but a lot of change in the 3rd-10th spot.
