I think I still like Illinois even though that state is very poorly run financially. But it feels like home. No income tax on retirement income at least. North Carolina, where I live now, is supposedly vastly superior to Illinois, but it is kind of sterile and over-civilized, at least in the Raleigh/Durham/Cary area. But my Daughter and our granddaughter lives here and my wife. baby-sits full time, so what can I do....
