<<Tek, perhaps if they hadn't sold all their consumer subs to MindSpring, they'd be at $42 3/4 today. Anybody raising rates on business customers?>>
I don't know if you are being facetious or not, but it's a little early to tell if business customers will be getting rate increases as well, but I can see it happening. PSI is no AOL, but then, AOL does not have the same product offering (tailored to the business user) as does PSI, and what's good for AOL is good for PSI in that revenue in the form of advertising and e-commerce is going to command a premium, given the demand for internet access. PSI did say that their revenues per customer have been rising quite steadily. In the consumer end of the business, there is AOL, and there is everybody else, there is no competing with them. The strategy of catering to the higher speed, and greater Qos demanded by the business user, in my mind separates PSI from the AOL also-rans, and in time (short-time) will pay off. I didn't own the stock at higher prices, I just bought it, but never the less, I can relate to what appears to be your frustration as to why the stock is not higher. Be patient..as the stock is really acting pretty good right here. I don't know about 42, but I'll take 10 in a few weeks!?!...and 20 in a few more!!?! What do ya think?...Tek |
