The Kinks were pretty special. I remember as a teen having a discussion a friend about how under-rated they "had been", as though they were finished and gone for good. We had no idea just how much impact they would have long-term. Great band. Still under-rated, lol. Nicky Hopkins did some of his best work with those guys.
