On impulse I watched a three parter called Signore Volpe about a British spy who somehow ends up solving crimes in Italy. It has a lot going for it -- beautiful people, beautiful countryside, excellent production values -- but it was essentially ridiculous, verging on fantasy.

Of course there is a very attractive Italian policeman who seems interested in Miss Fox (aka Signore Volpe, get it...) Of course everyone in this small Italian village speaks English, even in the few scenes that don't involve the English characters.

If you want three episodes of attractive fluff, Signore Volpe is for you.
