TI:

You comment:
> You realize if you promote negative thoughts on the company you will help the stock get sold more and the price will go down eventually.

I have said this before I say it again, believe me TI, our comments on SI threads (SPNSF or any other thread) do not (and I repeat do not) move the stock in any direction what so ever! The market is too huge and too complex for it to move based on our comments in SI! If someone buys and sells stocks based strictly on the positive or negative comments on SI threads then he/she is nothing but an imbecile or a bafoon! If they happen to profit based on what they thought was the result of posts on SI then it was pure luck, and if they think otherwise they are simply very naive (to say the least)!

The only reason people participate (at least this is the intention) is to get information about stocks. This is the information age. You no longer need to talk to a highly paid broker to get his/her opinion on a particular investment. Boards such as SI have replaced such brokers. But in no way they effect one's decision to buy sell or hold with just blindly following one's comments!! Just ask yourself, go to another thread (lets say IBM). Would you buy the shares of IBM strictly based on the comments you see put on that thread?! Or do you use your own logic and look at the fundamentals and gather all information (one source of which maybe the informations put on that thread by others) in order to formulate a sound investment decision.

We all are here to make money. The only way (and let me repeat this the only way) a stock price goes up is ultimately based on its fundamentals, revenue and earnings growth. As retail investors we participate here to gain information and to see if we can conclude such fundamentals do exist or not about a company. And therefore we do need to review all aspects of an investment. It will be absolutely idiotic for everyone to say all the good things about the stock without saying its short comings.

Remember this is a place to gather information. It is up to the reader to formulate a decision on his/her investment. It is true that people (such as myself or you or DD, or Marc, or whoever else) who participate on the SI threads do not have billions, millions (or perhaps even thousands) of dollars, but give them (give us) a bit more credit. We/They do have the sophistication to distinguish between the truth and false information in order to make an investment decision.
