I agree with you. There is a similarity between this tragedy and the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting where the only armed officer stayed outside and did not enter the school to confront the shooter and save lives. Those who screwed up should be held accountable, especially those in charge! Believe it or not, the thought that entered my mind, after I felt the shock of this senseless, horrific slaughter of children, was thinking about the calls to defund the police and the violence against, and disparaging of our law enforcement by leaders like the useless, slug Stacey Abrams who backs defund the police. When the police are constantly belittled, can this have an effect on the performance of their duties? No excuse, but I wonder?
