This may sound ridiculous but the Zimbabwe dollar has been a great investment over the past 14 years for mint condition, uncirculated, and high graded notes (PCGS and PMG). $100 trillion is the highest denomination and believe was never circulated because that's when Zimbabwe switched to de facto US dollarization, or euros or British pounds.

A lot more I could say but put simply, mint condition notes I was buying in 2010 and 2011 for $10-20 are conservatively worth $150-200 now and had I started buying a year earlier the price would have been $4-10. There is some question of how many were made and they were printed so fast some notes lack the watermark or the ink on the press started running dry! This is why the graded notes became increasingly collectible.

Bought several hundred then in consecutive serial numbers and in hindsight wish I bought several thousand. Gave away many dozens as it's a fun gift and great conversation piece. The price seems to have accelerated higher in the past few years which I cannot explain other than it's inflated like most other assets.
