Russia’s nearly three-month-old invasion of neighboring Ukraine has been punctuated by flawed planning, poor intelligence, barbarity and wanton destruction. Unlike Americans pacifying My Lai, Fallujah, sundry wedding parties, the family in Kabul who were droned on departure, Rolling Thunder in Vietnam, the war in Yemen, and all the hell over the world. Most recently Virtuous Victoria Nuland and Peace Prize Obama in Kiev coup, Odessa burning alive and beating to death, Donbas blasting of civilians, Azov kneecapping and murder of the disliked, with the planned conquest of Russia which has been a permanent feature of Russia Russia Russia MADmen [and Harpies] in Washington and Eurostan.
Russia seems to me to have done okay, considering that Ukraine looked like a trap for them, just as Saddam was tricked into the Kuwait trap by April Glaspie = yet another woman who did not bring peace to the world despite the blathering rubbish that women ruling the world would mean peace, light, harmony, happiness, health, prosperity, longevity, fun and love. On the contrary, women like to see men fighting and they like mating with alpha male dominant bad blokes = chimpoid tendencies. In general. Often enough.
Men know that getting into fighting is NOT going to be good. Is going to be bad. So for the most part they prefer to strut, preen, pose and show-off but avoid, generally, getting into actual fighting. Women, for the most part, get to enjoy the show, survive and get taken over by the winning team, which seems to not be all that bad, in their view. Exceptions of course and maybe even majority.
Young men very quickly learn where they lie on the pecking order of desirable males. Being a girly man is not all that attractive to women. Tinder success is a current demonstration of female mating preferences. 5% of men are swamped with demand. Half of men need not apply. 10% have a good chance.
No wonder human evolution has been so rapid. In just one century, the Flynn Effect was demonstrated = rapid intelligence increases as the bottom 20% were eliminated in each generation.
In just 25,000 years an African bloke took over reproduction rights from all other males who had gone before, by genocide and being mate-selected. Genghis Khan did super successfully.
Women select for intelligence, among other variables. The innumerate would say "But Mq, the highly educated have few children so your theory is wrong". Not so. All those clever genes are mostly in the top half of the normal distribution curve, so even though the top 2% might not reproduce at all, their top notch genes are spread in the top half of the bunch, giving a continuous production by reassortment of the hot stuff combinations. But note, Elon Musk has 7 children.
