Sure it there are complex processes and considerations and background facts. There almost always are. That doesn't change the fact that Putin made the decision, he wasn't forced in to it by either Ukraine or the US or NATO. He didn't have to invade, the invasion wasn't justified, and he decided to invade anyway, first in 2014, then expanding the invasion in 2022.
