Hi JP--glad to have you aboard! ALL: Canaccord Report-- "Diamond Exploration Alberta - 1998" just released.
- - -
The anticipated Canaccord report on the Alberta diamond play has just come out. It is described as a comprehensive 31 page report, containing a good technical summary of the regional geology, with lots of information on the ACA property. It is entitled, Diamond Exploration Alberta - 1998, authored by David James (who terms the play 'speculative').

Recommendations for core players are ACA and PUG, and others are:
NCS-vse, MEO-ase, and MMU-ase.

I haven't myself yet read the report in its entirety, but I'm told that it really is a recommended read.

Here is an exact excerpt from the recommendation part:
(minus bolding, stock codes and stock prices)

"... speculative activity is most likely to occur when a drill program is imminent or in progress, and we have tried to highlight drill projects within the company profiles [contained within the report].

"Specifically, the core players, Ashton Mining of Canada and Pure gold Minerals are considered SPECULATIVE BUYS. Other somewhat prominent names in the area play that might be considered include: New Claymore Resources, Montello Resources and Marum Resources and partners"

There ya go, mateys!
Cheers,

PS-- The report includes a nice picture of one of the Marum/ CaribGold circular lakes which overlie an anomaly (one of the images shown, if you'll remember, at the Toronto Geological Discussion group's presentation by Mike Dufresne, which is also posted for viewing at Marum's website: marumresources.com ).

I'm told some copies of the report are available if you email your mailing address to mark@canuck.com ; they don't have many themselves, but could have one sent to you.
