Good Morning Longhorn,

Price targets of 120!

Most rewarding.

I can't tell you how many people told me that E&P companies will never recover and that EV's would make the ICE obsolete.

I thought it was an generational opportunity of a life time, a contrarian bet that has paid off in spades .

I had swapped a lot of the BRKS stock into XOM and CVX.

I remember one Friday I sold 5000 Cohu for more than I paid for 5500 XOM. Thought I'd cool it and see if Cohu would convert into to more XOM shares the next Monday. After that Cohu declined from it 51 ish high.

What a day, so glad I did swapped for XOM in our two IRA's plus our taxable account.

Now to wonder if holding long term for dividends, which may go up , or to ring the bell and pay capital gains on a double?

XOM is my number three holding in number of shares and the most in cost money.

I wish I had a candidate worthy of diversification.

Number one rule: It must pay a dividend!

The chase for yield has run up most high dividend payers.

I've watched call premiums and will begin to scale out XOM shares by selling Calls in the front month (with less than 30 days till expiration). Going to start at $110.00 to $115 once and if they get in the money.

If they get assigned, I'll keep accumulating the money until I receive my initial seed money - less dividends received back.

I have to build a shed for my restored Chevrolet Classics. If I have excess funds after that, I'll diversify into collectables as an alternative asset. Old cars I've bought over the years have been a good store of value. Additionally they have given me a lot of pleasure.

My continual investment of my dealership bonusses into stocks and their appreciation has led to a over allocation into equities.

If and when we get the next recession, I'd like to buy some more ag land in Wisconsin. Dairy farmers pay good money to lease the land for crop rotation. It covers taxes, keeps its value in an inflationary times and is not a burden on time while owning it.

Maybe you can keep an eye out for a Ranch out in your neck of the woods. NAH, the last thing I need is another 2 day long drive to go work on another house!

I'm going to Texas earlier this year. Gonna paint the outside, replace some fencing and put it for sale.

Then I'll look at a Condo in Florida or Louisiana. I'd still love to have a boat and do some salt water fishing while I'm young enough to take the beating on the waves.

I have quite a few friends who would love to visit in the winter and go fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.

This is a bad boy on the water - live bate fishing on the Gulf is where it is at:

It's free to dream eh?
