I think the problem bigger than inflation is that of deflation...

Once we do, if we do, go into a recession, if it's deep enough, then we'll see inflation go down and we'll be faced with deflation...

Deflation might seem better, but this also means major lay offs from the large retail stores so people won't be earning anything in order to pay for anything...

If this happens, and I don't think any of this is out of the question, then our economic condition could slide into a fully blown depression...

The labor participation rate right now is only 62.7%... this means our real unemployment rate is 37.3% and at the level of a real depression...

The reported unemployment rate is deceptive because it doesn't include those who are still not working and also not receiving any unemployment compensation...
