There's a world of difference between the rapidly moving high-tech
industry and the stodgy auto industry. If none of the U.S. or
Japanese automakers bite on the BAAT technology, will we see a
nimble new competitor swoop in and kick their rear-ends into
oblivion, merely by building a BAAT-equipped car? I don't think
so; cost of entry into the market is too great. So there doesn't
seem to be any compelling reason for the corporate legal departments
to suddenly put the petal to the metal.

If no retooling, etc. is required, why isn't BAAT already selling
their technology into the after-market?

Just wondering...
