Human nature as it expresses itself in the market dictates that
people will sell if nervous or uncertain, therefore
a stock like Apcc that has been relatively quiet on the news department after a pretty good runup from 15 earlier leaves many
investor nervous in light of Asia etc. To compound that, Apcc has
relatively few shares and lends itself to manipulation by the pros
who are trying to accumulate it. Hence , they dropped the price by
sacrificing a few shares in hopes that they could get nervous nellies
to sell on the cheap... The real action starts tomorrow as more and
more funds will notice that this stock is about to become a
billion dollar baby in the next year. I look for a breakout to the
mid 30s as we anticipate about $1.60 next 12 months min and a p.e. of
25+. We will also probably see a stock split to get more shares out.
They obviously dont need to sell anymore they have an excellent cash
and reserve position. This is an exceptional position. gil
