Check this out... SPX is perfectly contained by the secular bull channel I drew some time ago.

You can easily see the two cyclical bear markets... one was faster than the other from a lower level so it went deeper (ie larger percentage decline.)

Fascinating chart.

Break that lower line and we're in the chitter.... but I got some more of my micro biotech today. My second buy hit the price but there were no shares for me... then the damned thing closed up 7% so my buy today and yesterday are green... Of course volume is TINY but if it turns next week after this test of the lower channel line, should be fun.
Actually, they may bust it Monday just to run stops which is why I buy with nets below the market but don't like stops... I'll use asset allocation to limit risk.
