Jeffers and all,

from cbs:
Oracle shares rallied after Morgan Stanley Dean Witter raised its rating on the database software maker to "outperform" from "neutral". The upgrade follows more positive comments from management, as the company backed the consensus analyst estimate of 18 cents per share in earnings for the current quarter. Over the past weeks, the company has said it expects to see "flat to modest" growth in Japan for the current quarter, as well as a 25-percent increase in North American database sales. Chairman Larry Ellison said at a news conference last week he expects application sales to increase 50 percent for the coming quarters; that compares to 7 percent growth in the previous quarter. The Redwood City, Calif.-based company is scheduled to appear Tuesday at the Goldman, Sachs investment conference. The stock gained 11/16 to 27 11/16 on volume that was twice as heavy as average.

Does anybody know anything about the GS investment conference? When is it scheduled? How many companies are there? What can we expect? New upgrades?
