Thanks Bob,

Have they said what the full price for internet and cable will be after 2 years?

I believe Comcast started me out at about $30/m to entice me to change from DSL... and over the years reduces the discount and raises the plan price so currently pay $48/m for a $65/m plan that may convert to full price in August. I get 100MB/s download and 6 MB/s upload. The upload sometimes makes me wait to shut down my PC after closing big spreadsheets or a quicken file before I leave but otherwise, it is plenty of bandwidth to watch 4K video on several screens at once... usually two or three different feeds for SpaceX or other rocket launches and landings. Otherwise I just need 1 4K channel where I'm told 25MB/s is more than enough.

If Comcast goes down, my TMobile $60/m for two unlimited lines plus 20GB or so of hot spot data allows me to use the hotspot to work from home or watch a show until Comcast service returns. It is a big reason I don't get bundled plans, I like the backup. Also, Upload from TMobile can run 20MB/s so I used to use that to backup large files in the cloud when I had DSL.

have a great weekend!
Kirk
