Well, it is officially a bear market on a closing basis for all three of the major indexes. The Dow is still in correction mode, but few used it for actual TA any more since it lacks diversification. Down 21.83% for the SPX isn't even close any more.... the permabulls will have to admit they were wrong or just keep calling bottoms and rely on morons forgetting they do that all the way down. Don't get me wrong, I did some buying today and have been nibbling for awhile after taking a ton of profits when much higher. What is encouraging is my buying less the selling this year was positive until today and even then, is only down 3.8% on the total basket. Of course the overall portfolio is down 14.6% YTD, but that crushes the performance of all the indexes, including the Dow!
