Adam, If you will click on that # 7405 above and read through the the last Conference Call which the company conducted back in Nov 97 I am sure you will find many answers to your questions regarding world- wide sales of Trinity Biotech's products especially as it applies to HIV..... They currently have three HIV tests available...SeroCard HIV 1/2........Unigold HIV.......SalivaCard HIV1/2 Trinity is currently marketing its HIV1/2 SeroCard world-wide following completion of successful clinical trials in many countries. In many third world countries the favorable evaluation of a diagnostic test by the World Health Organization ( WHO ) is essential to obtaining local regulatory approval and the WHO has issued favorable evaluation on these tests in January 1994. It is an excellent Laboratory test for rapid screening of HIV.... Also keep in mind that Trinity Biotech has over 65 world-wide distributors for a full line of over 95 diagnostic products. Do not get "hung up" on this HIV test,as they have a wide ranging catalog and are well diversified. SK Beecham has recently announced a marketing agreement in Africa for the Uni-gold HIV, a critical affirmation for this exciting test platform. ~~~ more later ~~~ ps......BOD.....correction...Mr. Tom Benson from Clark participates in Board meetings but is not an official Board Member....just to set the record straight.....no big deal .
