If you want to play it that way, then:

I spoke of a vector space and not of a vector. Time, as you used it, is not a vector space. And when it is an element within one, e.g. in DSP, it very much does have two directions.

But again, there was nothing you or anyone else could have gained by bickering over the wording in a conversation that was clearly not meant as a precise mathematical or engineering context.
