Tradestation ... DUAL CPUs

Street Walker was pretty firm about DUAL not helping TS. I guess the reason I keep beating the topic around is I haven't made sense of that yet. Tradestation has two tasks: the server - runs by itself and sucks data off the BMI-feed-serial port and writes it to disk. And the 'charting module' which will only start if the server is running.

Trying to understand SWs assertion that DUAL wouldn't be helpful: a likely large function of the server must be to pass ticks to the charting module. Hence memory sharing. Perhaps this would necessitate the charts running on the same CPU as the server? Sounds like I ought to inquire directly to Omega. If anybody is interested I'll post the reply here.
