Tegsedi, the drug developed by Ionis Pharmaceuticals, is injected by the patient once a week. The patient can do the injection anywhere. No clinical supervision is needed. Onpattro, if I recall correctly, requires an injection of cortisone to avoid inflammation. Both these drugs have potential adverse side effects. Ionis is currently developing a new version of Tegsedi that will require a lower dosage and have fewer side effects. Art
