Stock Detective

I can't respond to their logic.

"GM has an electric car that can be leased in Arizona and California, according to Jim Evans, a GM spokesman. It will have two hybrid electric vehicles ready for production in 2001 with ranges of 350 miles and 550 miles, at 60 mpg and 80 mpg respectively.

The stock detective is interviewing GM about electric vehicles, not internal combustion engines. The comparison between the two is flawed. My assumption is that the reporter has a poor understanding of the issues or substance of BAAT's technology. She compared the electric vehicle of GM with BAAT's dolphin engine. It is either a lack of understanding or a deliberate distortion of the issue.

RE: which of the big three will be last to implement BAAT technology?

I don't know. Ford is the quietest and Ford did not reveal a fuel rail direct injection diesel in Europe at the Frankfurt auto show like GM-Opel or Chrysler did. I could not tell you who is going to be first or last, but I think it will be a domino effect if one signs! Why? What if a Ford F-350 truck can get 45mpg in city driving with the technology.
What would that do to Ford and GM truck sales?

I can tell you that BAAT has stated that the earlier you sign the cheaper it is. Subsequent licensing fees will be progressively more expensive. BAAT will have more negotiating power on those who come to the table after their competition announces that they will implement the BAAT technology.

I hope this helps.
