The price for the diet brown stuff we buy at the grocery store has gone up 60%, so I looked into SodaStream thinking I could maybe save a few bucks.

Wow, people hate them! You can't save money. You're trapped in their loop of exclusive products. You have to mail back empty CO2 cylinders to get new ones. You have to use max carbonation, which is like 6x what they say you need, to match store products. Etc.

I guess I'll continue to buy at the grocery store and lug home those 2-liters.
