My dog is definitely a desert dog; she loves to sit out in the sun for hours at a time. Since we moved out of the desert for 4 months, she has been sitting in the sun even more. Today, she sat in the sun for two hours after we took a 3 mile walk and ate her lunch. She loves the forest and mountain walks, but she would be unhappy in a very cold winter climate. Desert dog she is.

We are going back to the desert October 1.

Minnie has become an integral part of our family who we bring everywhere or we do not go. She sleeps with us, goes to grocery stores, parties and doctors with us. I even took Minnie to my grandson's Bar Mitzvah. She wants to be with us all the time. We are her pack and she is so appreciative you have no idea. She kisses us all the time. She even has enough sense to get off the bed when my wife and I become intimate. Then she comes back up with us.

Minnie loves people so big gatherings are no problem.
