I'm saddened to say you're right. I found problems with the charges on my phone bill. I was being billed incorrectly. The only reason I found these charges is because I am a utility regulator. Before having taken this job I simply paid, no questions asked.

Word to wise -- if anyone is listening -- don't assume that any of these entities can bill you correctly because we live in the "age of computers." Re: the phone co that misbilled me -- they never admitted that they were billing me incorrectly -- they simply gave me a few hundred dollars worth of credits (probably after they discovered who I was) then encouraged me to switch to another calling plan.

I could have changed providers, but I have no more confidence in the other cos to bill correctly either.

Re: the 2 buck increase. It will take much more than that to alienate the faithful and keep new people from signing up. After all, for those already using the service -- they are already putting up with the lousiest service you could get, they are annoyed by adds and used to abysmal customer service. Why should they care about paying another couple of bucks?
