By the way, I've heard people mention that recent volume and share price move of NOVL is due to Netscape rumors. That would be nice,
but its already last weeks news.

I would just hope its buying on fundamentals more than anything else. NOVL needs to continue building a very strong base of shareholders, thats what I want to see.

Fundamentals, Incremental volume, Acc/Dis, block trades, price action, MM (Market Makers) actions, are some of the clues I follow to differentiate "rumor--action.". When I posted on this thread that the drop to 7 and bellow 'has the look and feel of a shake out' there was no rumor. Price and volume tells the truth most of the time and it did with Novell as it forced out the weaker and the most disappointed holders. MMs can hide their intentions but not their actions. It really was all there...
Finally, anyone buying into Novell between 6 to 8 (Frederick's price)
is not risking much. Unless, Asia goes to hell, Japan goes bankrupt, Schmidt is kicked by Billy and Novell blows the one Billion. Of course, all the above happening at the same time is a possibility too. LOL and LOL
