Jeff-I stayed up most of the night finishing this damn book. And yes-the author did think of that--it actually turned into not a bad book-- (I'll give it a 7-at 3 am probably an 8). It turns on a religion v. science conflict. And I think the author must have been researching Affymetrix--he mentions genechips and how we are getting close to cracking the mysteries of DNA in his Afterword. And one of the technologies in the book is creating holographic images of suspects from a cell. Are we close to this kind of technology?-I thought that was incredible...
