Dogs remind us every day that kindness and gentleness is what matters most in our relationships.

They are so loving. Lots of people have serious problems and take out their frustrations on their dogs.

Owning a dog is a very big responsibility.

I never thought I'd say this but I love my dog as much as my sons and grandchildren.

All these dogs want is a good loving home and they will return the favor tenfold.

My dog is high energy and requires lots of exercise. I walk her 6 miles a day in two one hour stints and sometimes I feel that is not enough for her.

We take her to dog parks, but she rarely plays with other dogs anymore. She prefers to be with us and be petted and hugged.

There is a hidden social contract between a human and their dog. From the standpoint of the dog, you feed me and provide me with a good loving home and I will do basically whatever you want, sleep when you sleep, rest when you rest, exercise when you exercise; in short, join you in whatever you do.
