I think so, too... Today's action really looked suspect, no real buying commitment... If the FED continue raising, then I don't know how the dollar couldn't also rise since rising rates and the rising dollar seems synonymous most all the time... And a strong dollar could well be the kiss of death for these markets... While large retailers are beginning to lower prices and advertise big discounts, the consumer is also responding by saying, "Sorry, we're already tapped out!!!" This brings consumer confidence down to new all time lows, lower than it has been in three generations!!! This is not a bullish picture for the economy right now... As you already know, I've been mentioned a coming recession for some time and finally I hear the word uttered by pundits on TV... Well, sorry, but it may no longer be a recession, it could easily morph into a legitimate depression... GZ
