<The Lehman report references a foundry relationship announcement perhaps pending. Anyone care to hazard a guess as to the specific nature of this relationship- does idt gain income or what?> This my pure speculation but: 1) If IDTI does 3 Million parts in March 99 quarter (which is their estimate) then they would probably have to be working with another company. (IBM,etc.) Financially they would win ($) and be able to take advantage of other's mfging lines (in addition to Oregon) 2) The PC makers at large would like the other Winchip source and this should bode well for other PC sales. IDTI would have a larger presence AND more recognized staying power and MPU momentum. But when does this happen? By summer?
